I just got back from Christmas vacation in Iowa. It was a really nice break. Pretty cold though. Highs were negative degrees F on some days and got above freezing 2 of the 12 days I was home. I did a bunch of drinking with friends and my brother and just chilled out during the day. My parents don't have a computer/internet which was actually really nice since it made me take a complete break from the poker world (I'm a bit of a workaholic).

I made the 1.25 million VPP milestone today so I'm officially done for the year. Overall it was a pretty good year especially considering I had a regular full-time job for almost five months. My ROI was lower than I would like but I can't complain considering just the bonus money with my volume is great. My girlfriend Katie and I are heading to Boston this weekend to hang out with some old friends (I lived there for 3 years before moving to the Philly area). My old roommates are also UF Gator alumni and we'll be catching the game on Saturday at the alumni bar (McFadden's). I'm actually not into it too much but any excuse to drink beer with friends always works for me. If there are going to be any other Gators/poker players there give me a shout.

Alright, I didn't actually find cash laying around. Here's the deal. I use tourney manager to track my stats (which is great btw). Last year PokerStars added 10-man $225 SNGs vs their normal 9-man SNGs. I didn't realize while importing them into TM that they weren't being recognized as 10-man games. Therefore, every time I got ITM in a 10-man game, it would only give me credit for a 9-man payout. As time has gone on, I thought I was getting killed at the 225s but it was purely an [...]

Probably just donk all in I answer.

This was the question I was asked today while playing HU 200/400 with a stack of about 3000. I'm obviously in push/fold mode (mostly pushing). I've had people ask this before and it's pretty hilarious. Unfortunately my 54s ran into his AQ so I didn't get the win. I bet he feels like a champion but I'm sure that money will be circulating back through the system soon enough.
