This helped him make the decision to play poker professionally. During this time, Jonathan was attending the University of West Florida studying Physics and Psychology, but he put his schooling on hold after 2 years to focus on his poker career.

Jonathan’s biggest achievement in his poker career so far is being the World Poker Tour Player of the Year for season 6 (the 2007-2008 season).  The goals that Jonathan has for his poker career are to win another World Poker Tour even and to win a World Series of Poker event. Currently, Jonathan plays poker daily for at least 4 hours.  The limits and types of poker he plays include $200 and up SNG’s and $2/$4 to $25/$50 cash tables.
