To date, Joe’s largest wins include: 2006 WCOOP main event 14th place finish for $40,000 2007 WSOP 50K HORSE event 14th place finish for $142,080 2007 WSOP RAZZ tournament 6th place finish 2007 satellite to the $100,000 Stars of Poker Tournament Joe started playing poker during his freshman year of college. Initially, he was just playing very small stakes online and live games at a fraternity house. When he graduated from college in June of 2007, Joe decided to start playing poker professionally. The reason for making this transition was based on the fact that for the 2 years before graduating he was playing over 40 hours a week and making over $50,000 a month playing SNGs. The greatest achievement in Joe’s online poker career so far is that he was the 2nd person to ever reach Supernova Elite status on Pokerstars while also being the first player to reach that status with a winning record. Other achievements include cashing in the 50K HORSE event as it is considered to be the toughest playing field in poker and reaching the final table in a WSOP event. Presently, Joe’s main goal with his poker career is to build up his playing ability until he is playing the highest buy-in mixed games, this includes online and live play. He also wants to win a big live tournament. Joe currently plays up to 50 hours of poker a week. Right now he is focusing on mixed limit games with Omaha Hi/lo, Stud hi/lo, Razz being played the most often. He also plays the $75/$150 cash games on PokerStars, and the $100/$200 games on FullTilt.
